Marbled Paper

This batch was made by myself and family members in the summer of 2007. I got permission from my boss to set up shop in the conservation lab where I worked and have everyone–nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters–come. We had a good time and made a big mess and some very beautiful papers. I’ve picked some of the best ones to share:

    Really nice papers you show.
I know from my work how hard it is to get really good splatter and how expensive it is.

    Wonderful work.

I have loved marbled paper since I was a child and some of these really tug at the strings of those happy memories.

You made a very nice variety. I think the purple is my favorite. I have started using marbled paper in my origami earrings and it really adds a certain grace and beauty. Learning how to marble paper is on my ever growing list of things I want to learn.
